Welcome to Tyler Ryan Studio. By accessing or using our website at www.tylerryanstudio.com, or by engaging us for any of our services — including photography, graphic and web design, DJ services, and event production — you agree to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

These Terms apply to all visitors, clients, and others who access or use our site and services. “Tyler Ryan Studio,” “we,” “us,” or “our” refers to the creative studio operated by Tyler Graham, based in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

1. Services

Scope of Services

Tyler Ryan Studio offers the following creative services:

Photography (portraits, boudoir, events, editorial, and commercial)
Graphic and web design
DJ services and event hosting
Event production and planning

The specific deliverables, timeline, and pricing for each project are agreed upon individually before work begins. A separate service agreement, booking form, or project proposal may supplement these Terms for specific engagements.

Consultations

Initial consultations — whether in person, by phone, or virtually — are offered to determine whether our services are a good fit for your needs. Consultations do not constitute a binding service agreement. A project is confirmed only when a deposit or retainer has been received and a written agreement has been signed or otherwise acknowledged by both parties.

2. Booking, Deposits & Payment

Booking & Retainers

To secure a date or begin a project, a non-refundable retainer or deposit is required. The amount will be specified in your project proposal or booking confirmation. Your date or project slot is not held until this payment is received.

Payment Schedule

Final payment is due as specified in your individual service agreement. For most projects, the remaining balance is due no later than the date of service (for events and sessions) or upon delivery of final files (for design work). We reserve the right to withhold delivery of final materials until payment is received in full.

Late Payments

Invoices not paid within 14 days of the due date may be subject to a late fee of 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate work on a project if payment obligations are not met.

Accepted Payment Methods

Accepted payment methods will be communicated at the time of booking. Tyler Ryan Studio does not store your payment card information; all payments are processed through secure third-party payment processors.

3. Cancellations & Rescheduling

Client Cancellations

All retainers and deposits are non-refundable, as they compensate us for holding your date and any pre-project preparation. If you cancel a project or session:

Cancellations made 30 or more days before the scheduled date forfeit the retainer but owe no additional balance.
Cancellations made fewer than 30 days before the scheduled date may result in the full balance becoming due, depending on work already completed and costs incurred.

Rescheduling

We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate rescheduling requests made at least 14 days in advance, subject to availability. Rescheduling requests made fewer than 14 days before the scheduled date may require an additional rescheduling fee.

Tyler Ryan Studio Cancellations

In the unlikely event that we must cancel due to circumstances beyond our control (illness, emergency, or force majeure), we will provide as much notice as possible and offer either a full refund of any amounts paid or a rescheduled date at no additional charge. Our liability in such cases is limited to the amounts you have already paid us.

4. Photography Services

Session Conduct

We are committed to making every session a safe, respectful, and comfortable experience. We reserve the right to end a session immediately, without refund, if a client engages in behavior that is abusive, threatening, or violates agreed-upon session terms.

Image Selection & Delivery

We curate and select the final images from each session. Not all images captured will be delivered. The number of edited images delivered will be as specified in your booking agreement. Requests for unedited or “raw” files are generally not accommodated, as they do not represent our finished work.

Image Delivery Timeline

Edited images will be delivered within the timeframe specified in your booking agreement. Rush delivery may be available for an additional fee. Delivery timelines are estimates and may be affected by session complexity, volume, or unforeseen circumstances.

Boudoir & Intimate Sessions

We treat all boudoir and intimate photography with the highest level of privacy and professionalism. Images from these sessions will never be shared, published, or used in any portfolio without your explicit written consent. You retain full control over the use of your images.

Image Archiving

We retain session files for a period of up to 90 days after delivery. After this period, we cannot guarantee the availability of your files. Clients are responsible for backing up and maintaining their own copies of delivered images.

5. Design Services

Project Scope & Revisions

Design projects are scoped in the project proposal or contract. The agreed number of revision rounds is included in your quoted price. Additional revisions beyond the agreed scope will be billed at our standard hourly rate, which will be communicated to you before additional work begins.

Client-Provided Materials

If you provide logos, photographs, copy, or other materials for your project, you represent that you have the right to use and share those materials and that their use will not infringe on any third-party rights. We are not responsible for legal issues arising from client-provided content.

Project Abandonment

If a project is paused or abandoned by the client for more than 60 days without communication, we reserve the right to close the project. Any deposits or retainers paid are non-refundable. Resuming the project may require re-booking at current rates.

6. DJ & Event Services

Equipment & Logistics

We will provide the equipment and setup as discussed during the planning process. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure the venue is accessible for load-in, has adequate power and space for our setup, and complies with any applicable noise ordinances or venue restrictions.

Event Changes

Significant changes to the event — such as venue, date, or expected guest count — must be communicated as soon as possible. Changes may affect pricing or availability and will be addressed through a revised agreement.

Liability at Events

Tyler Ryan Studio is not responsible for injuries, property damage, or other incidents that occur at events we service, except where directly caused by our negligence. Clients are encouraged to secure appropriate event insurance.

7. Intellectual Property & Usage Rights

Our Creative Work

All photographs, designs, graphics, videos, and other creative works produced by Tyler Ryan Studio remain our intellectual property. By paying for our services, you receive a license to use the final deliverables as described below, but we retain the copyright to all work.

Photography License

Upon receipt of full payment, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable personal license to use your delivered photographs for personal use (printing, sharing on personal social media, etc.). Commercial use of images — such as in advertisements, product listings, or for-profit publications — requires a separate commercial license agreement.

Design Work License

Upon receipt of full payment, ownership of final approved design deliverables (such as logos, flyers, or web graphics) transfers to you for your intended use. We retain the right to display the work in our portfolio. Source files (e.g., .ai, .psd, .fig) remain our property unless explicitly included in the project scope.

Portfolio Use

We reserve the right to display any work created for clients in our professional portfolio, on our website, and on social media, unless you have requested confidentiality in writing. For boudoir and intimate photography, portfolio use requires explicit written consent.

Website Content

All content on www.tylerryanstudio.com — including text, images, logos, and design — is the property of Tyler Ryan Studio and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without written permission.

8. Third-Party Links & Platforms

Our website contains links to third-party platforms including Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook. These links are provided for convenience only. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party sites. Visiting those platforms is subject to their own terms and policies.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tyler Ryan Studio’s total liability for any claim arising out of or related to our services shall not exceed the total amount you paid us for the specific project or service giving rise to the claim.

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, or damage to equipment, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

We are not responsible for circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including acts of nature, illness, power outages, equipment failure from third-party causes, or venue issues.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Tyler Ryan Studio, its owner, contractors, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of our services, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

11. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

12. Dispute Resolution

We value our client relationships and will make every reasonable effort to resolve disputes informally. If you have a concern, please contact us at the email below before initiating any formal proceedings. We will respond within 10 business days to attempt resolution in good faith.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The “Effective Date” at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms & Conditions, together with any project-specific service agreement, proposal, or booking confirmation, constitute the entire agreement between you and Tyler Ryan Studio regarding our services, and supersede any prior discussions or understandings. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
