Hi, I’m Alanis Moresex — a drag performer, photographer, and DJ based in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. My performance persona lives somewhere between rock ‘n’ roll rebellion and emotional vulnerability. I love keeping audiences guessing — whether I’m delivering a raw, heartfelt ballad or flipping the energy into a full-throttle number. You never quite know what you’re going to get, and that’s the fun of it.

I’m heavily inspired by 90s alt-rock energy, pop culture, and theatrical storytelling (yes, a nod to the spirit of Alanis Morissette is always there). With a background in theater, I approach every performance with intention — from the music mix to the costume to the final pose. Drama, nostalgia, humor, chaos… it’s all fair game.

Connection is everything to me. Whether I’m on stage, behind the DJ booth, or behind the camera, I read the room and build an experience around it. I want people to feel seen, hyped, emotional, and maybe a little surprised. Drag, for me, is about freedom — and I invite the audience to step into that freedom right along with me.
